ClearBlue Zinc, Copper, and Silver ionization has a greater residual effect than any other disinfectant. This means that the minerals released into the water remain active for long periods of time. This is called near-total remanence of zinc, copper, and silver.
Unlike a mineralizer like Zodiac's Nature 2, ionization is effective throughout your entire water system, even in areas with more stagnant or low-flow water, and does not require the pump to be run continuously.
When using the ClearBlue system, water system maintenance becomes less of a concern. Since it is non-corrosive, it places less strain on the distribution system. Due to reduced chemical usage, valves and pumps are not affected.
